3 oz Per Day

Hannah's doctor's appointment was awesome today. Her jaundice is gone, and she has gained 6 ounces! The pediatrician was amazed at her progress in just 2 days. Newborns typically gain 3/4 of an ounce per day, and Hannah has gained 3 per day! She still has some room to fluctuate and still be right where she needs to be by her two-week birthday on Monday. The appointment could not have gone better, and we are so grateful for your prayers.

The past two days have been blissful. Hannah is sleeping like a champ and is just so laid-back and content. It is easy to parent her right now. And to top off the joy of parenthood, my sister-in-law organized meals to be delivered to our house starting Monday of this week. It is so, so nice to have a hot, ready-to-eat meal delivered right when my tummy starts to growl. What a huge blessing this has been.
